My shoes finally came, with a lot of help from Boyfriend and advice from friends on how to deal with businesses in Latin America. *sigh* If they weren’t so pretty I would think they were not worth it… but they are.
The fancy new shoes that finally arrived!

Bf came south with me for a week, and we settled into Mompiche. Â We absolutely do need the mosquito net!
H came by to shower (while her house was under construction). Yes, I’m too lazy to get under the covers.
We spent breakfasts together, and had evening salsa dancing in H‘s house.
I’m wearing my shoes for the first time! 🙂

But Bf and I spent most of the days together, with an adventurous off-roading trip to the nearby Playa Negra
There’s a waterfall there! (Trust me on this one, it’s totally there)
and later H taught Bf to surf, sort of.
They got out there at least!
The best part? Being back on the ocean to enjoy sunset in Mompiche.
It’s always prettier in real life…
